Florestar
is a professional, award winning, flute & guitar
duo based in London. Miho Wada and Noel Billingsley
formed Florestar Duo in 2002 whilst they studied at
Trinity College of Music in London, and the following
year they became the most booked performers at their
college.
Their wide range of repertoire includes
Classical, Jazz and Latin, Tango, Gypsy, Spanish, Latin
American, Romantic, Folk, Ballads, Broadway show tunes
and Film music. Such a varied repertoire makes Florestar
suitable for almost any occasion, and they are particularly
suited to more intimate events such as drinks receptions,
wedding receptions and ceremonies, dinner parties and
soirees. Florestar’s acclaimed performances of
particularly Astor Piazzolla's music and other notable
composers from South America, such as Hector Villa-Lobos,
have led them to travel world-wide to give concerts
and to attend festivals. They have recently performed
at major venues in UK, Ireland, France, Italy, Switzerland,
Malta, New Zealand, Brazil and Japan.
Florestar have gained a vast experience
in performing at all types of private and corporate
events. They have performed all over London, and the
South East of England, and can tailor their programme
to suit your individual needs. This experience combined
