Award winning harpist Paula Popa has performed in front of HRH The Queen, HRH The Duke of Edinburgh, the Archbishop of Canterbury, Princess Marina Sturza of Romania, Lord Eddie George (former governor of the Bank of England) to name but a few.

Having won five 1st prizes for various competitions in the UK, Paula has gone on to perform solo recitals in some of the most prestigious venues in London including St. Martin-in-the-Fields, St. James’s Piccadilly, St. John’s Smith Square, the Victoria & Albert Museum, and the National Gallery. Paula has recently graduated with a Masters Degree in Advance Performance from the Royal College of Music, in London.

Her Royal performances have taken her to Kensington Palace, St. James’s Palace, Lambeth Palace and Windsor Castle, and Paula has performed at many private and corporate events including prestigious venues such as Lord’s Cricket Ground, St. Paul’s Cathedral, Christies Auction House, Le Manoir Aux Quatr’Saisons, the Holland Park Orangery, Ely House, Hanbury Manor, Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich, and Brocket Hall.

As a busy professional musician, Paula also has a keen interest in orchestral performing, teaching and chamber music performances having formed her own group, the Naiades Ensemble (Flute, Viola and Harp).

Paula’s repertoire is extensive, and it covers a broad range of styles such as classical, jazz, pop, show tunes, and folk music from various countries. This means that the music performed can be specified to suit your individual requirements, making a harpist an ideal choice for so many occasions.
