The Storyville Jazzmen were formed back in 2003, and are quickly becoming renowned as one of the best young jazz bands active on the thriving British Trad-Jazz scene. This versatile ensemble specializes in the early jazz repertoire, made famous by jazz greats Louis Armstrong, Bix Beiderbecke, and Jelly Roll Morton. The “Jazzmen” are image perfect, right down to the bands’ waistcoat and straw boater uniform, and the band contains today's top young musicians. Available as a seven, five, or three piece ensemble, the band can suit any situation making them an ideal addition to your event.
Their flair, exciting performances, and enthusiasm for a great music, alongside a reputation for professionalism that is second to none, is why they are one of the top bands on the scene today. All of the “Jazzmen” are full time London based professionals, and are some of today’s leading musicians on the UK Jazz Scene. The band has played at many prestigious events and venues nationwide, including the opening of the Harrods Sale, the Henley Regatta and the Lord Mayor’s Show to name just a few. |
