What is Caffeinated Verse?
Caffeinated Verse is a special poetry series hosted by Nathan Hassall during his tenure as the 5th Poet Laureate of Malibu. Each event brought together celebrated poets for live readings and candid interviews, offering an intimate look into their craft, influences, and creative journeys.
While the series continues in Malibu today, The Poetry Vessel has preserved Nathan’s original Caffeinated Verse events in a dedicated YouTube playlist—capturing a unique chapter in Malibu’s literary history.
